Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush announced today that he has named one individual to serve in his Administration:

The President has named Jonathan D. Felts, of North Carolina, to be Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Political Affairs. Prior to this, Mr. Felts served as Assistant to the Vice President for Political Affairs. Earlier in his career, he served as Associate Director of the White House Office of Political Affairs, North Carolina Executive Director of Bush-Cheney'04, Inc., and Communications Director for Congressman Robin Hayes. Mr. Felts received his bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University.
