Modern Gengi: Viewing in the Snow. (Section one) A woman brandishing a broom standing in a snowy landscape. This is one panel of what is called a tryptic, three images painted separately, and presented separately or all together. This left section of a triptych is a joint work by Utagawa Kunisada and Utagawa Hiroshige. Signature Toyokuni-ga (painted by Toyokuni) is on the left and right sections. Signature Hiroshige hitsu (brush of Hiroshige) is on the center piece. Oban size print. Medium : 1 print : woodcut, color ; 15 x 10 inches (approximate size).
