Electronic System for Travel Authorization to the US compulsory from 12 January

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection have launched the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) to determine the eligibility of visitors to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program.
