The Library of Congress is offering
broad public access to The Veterans History Project materials included
in the “Courage, Patriotism and Community” presentation
as a contribution to education and scholarship. The Veterans History
Project materials include audio and videotaped oral histories along
with documentary materials such as letters, diaries, maps, photographs,
and memoirs, of America’s war veterans and those who served in
support of them. Veterans and interviewers contributed these materials
to the Library for scholarly and educational purposes, reserving to
themselves any copyright or performance rights they may hold. Researchers
or others who would like to make further use of these materials should

Some materials in these collections may be protected by the U.S. Copyright
Law (Title 17, U.S.C.) and/or by the copyright or neighboring-rights

may apply. The written permission of the copyright owners and/or holders
