Practice What You Promise: Building Successful Workplaces with Innovative Practices

Check out Successful Workplaces Digest, BPW Foundation's innovative new publication, released at the 2008 Summit

Since 1956, BPW Foundation has brought together key figures from all sectors of society at critical times to generate solutions to workplace issues. Today, BPW Foundation brings together prominent national employers and researchers to discuss the challenges of creating diverse, equitable, successful workplaces, and it provides a starting point from which individuals and organizations can make recommendations to policymakers. The Summit helps enable employers to develop and nurture practices and policies that cultivate and strengthen workplace equity, work-life effectiveness and diversity through roundtable discussions, experiential learning and an intimate, focus group format.

Described by Fortune as a "Win/Win Solution" (May 29, 2006), the inaugural National Employer Summit in 2005, Workplaces and Workforces in Transition and the 2006 Summit, Raising Profits and Potential Return on Investment for Work-Life Effectiveness, Diversity and Workplace Equity, provide a forum in which employers formulate practical strategies to develop greater equity through public policy and workplace policies.

Each year, BPW Foundation invites leading national employers from the government, corporate and nonprofit sectors that are actively creating policies and programs to enhance work-life effectiveness to showcase, share and further enhance their promising practices.
