Systems of Records

The Office for Civil Rights has published in the "Federal Register" a system notice that describes the data collected and maintained by the agency and covered by the Privacy Act.

A description of the information to be collected must be published in the "Federal Register" 40 days before the data collection begins.

For each of  systems of records, a specified agency employee, known as a system manager, is responsible for the business requirements of the data maintained in the system, for answering any questions about seeing the records, and amending or correcting information contained therein.  The system manager, along with his or her mailing address, is listed in the Federal Register Notice
