Designation of Individuals Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his designation of five individuals to represent the United States at ceremonies marking the 60th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the largest Jewish uprising against Nazi oppression in World War II, on April 30, 2003.

The Honorable Anthony Principi, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, will serve as the leader of the delegation.

The Honorable Christopher Hill, U.S. Ambassador to Poland Former Representative Benjamin Gilman Thomas Bernstein, Member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council Don Etra, Member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council
