Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate five individuals to serve in his administration:

The President intends to nominate the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation:

The President intends to nominate Herbert S. Garten of Maryland, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring July 13, 2005.

The President intends to nominate Thomas R. Meites of Illinois, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring July 13, 2004.

The President intends to nominate the following individuals to be Members of the Board of Directors of the United States Institute of Peace:

The President intends to nominate Charles Edward Horner of the District of Columbia, for the remainder of a four-year term expiring January 19, 2007.

The President intends to nominate Stephen D. Krasner of California, for the remainder of a four-year term expiring January 19, 2005.

The President intends to nominate Daniel Pipes of Pennsylvania, for the remainder of a four-year term expiring January 19, 2005.
