  CCR v4.07.2 - 05/04/2007
Notes:

CCR version 4.07.2 was implemented early on May 4,2007. In that release we included the changes for IAE CRs as noted below.

IAE CR-101a-CCR - Business Size Validation, D&B Family Tree - This change implements the data collection of Location Size data to complement the Size data already collected for all affiliates (worldwide size). This is in relation to the average number of employees and the average annual revenue. Beginning with this release a registrant will enter size data for their location AND for their worldwide operations. Entry of the worldwide size information will be required for registrants whose D&B Linkage information shows a corporate hierarchy. Others may choose to enter numbers for affiliates or check a box that there are no affiliates.

Dissemination of these new data fields in CCR Extracts and CCRXML will not begin until the v4.07.3 release.

IAE CR-099-CCR - Business Type B9 (Large Business) - The Federal government does not define Large Businesses only Small Businesses. In April 2005, CCR implemented the logic, through the Small Business Administration (SBA), to derive Small Business Size Status by revenues, employees, NAICS codes, and other small business defining factors. CCR indicates the Small Business Size Status next to each NAICS code listed in the profile. All NAICS not designated as Small Business are considered other than small. We will remove Business Type B9 as a choice and will update all registrations that have this indicator selected. CCR Extract users will have a larger than usual Daily Extract on Saturday morning as a result.

IAE CR-105-CCR - DBA (Foreign Parent) -This change will prevent CCR from using a DBA line from D&B if it is the comment (Foreign Parent . . .)

  CCR v4.07.1 - 02/11/2007
Notes:

Central Contractor Registration, (CCR) implemented a new release on February 11, 2007. This release included a new look and feel to CCR Inquiry, CCR Tools, and the ccr.gov home page. The CCR Update is not changing look and feel in this release but will catch up in a release later in 2007.

CCR added new elements in this release and also deleted two Business Types in response to changes requested by federal government agencies. Please see the SBA NAICS Size Standards Release Notes for further detail.

Also, an element for the Delinquent Federal Debt flag is defined in this release for extracts and CCRXML but filling this data element is not yet implemented in release 4.07.1.

  CCR v4.07.1 - 02/11/2007
Notes: '

SBA NAICS Size Standards - A major change to CCR is in support of the Small Business Administration (SBA) initiative to properly reflect in CCR the determination of Small/Other than Small and Emerging Small business designations. As these determinations are only made on individual North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, they will be reflected at that level only in CCR v4.07.1. In addition, the handful of NAICS codes that have exceptions to the general size standard will now reflect the exception determination as well.

What does this mean? It means that the CCR Business Types 21/Small Business and B2/Emerging Small Business will be retired. The current Yes/No flag showing SBA determinations (now including the exceptionhat currently use the above mentioned CCR Business Types.

New elements for the size exception determinations will be added to the January release version of CCRXML and to the current standardized master CCR extracts (named BxD... and BxR...) to show the determinations and exception determinations at the NAICS level only. Further detail on these changes has been sent out via e-mail. Further info on the January Release is posted at CCR News.

  CCR Update v3.06.3 - 07/28/2006
Notes: A change in accepted Canadian Province Codes has gone into effect with the 3.06.3 release of CCR. Obsolete Canadian Province Codes for Quebec and Newfoundland will no longer be allowed in CCR. Only the current codes for Quebec (QC) and Newfoundland/Labrador (NL) will be accepted in CCR. Current registrations with PQ for Quebec will be changed to QC and NF for Newfoundland will be changed to NL as part of the upgrade. The updated registrations will be sent out in CCR extracts.

  CCR Update v3.06.3 - 07/28/2006
Notes: D&B Name Address Verification became active with release 3.06.3. This CCR revision renders most CCR registrants unable to change, directly in CCR, their Legal Business Name, DBA (Doing Business As) and Physical Address. They must correct name and address information for those fields at DUN & Bradstreet (D&B). Then the registrant will return to the CCR registration, which will only pull that data from D&B. Countries not monitored by D&B or not recognized by D&B must make all their own updates in CCR, after they become active.

  CCR Update v3.06.3 - 07/28/2006
Notes: CCR Zip Code + 4 look up has gone into effect with release v3.06.3. This change affects the way ZIP Codes are processed for a registrant's physical address. When a new registrant registers in CCR, DLIS will execute the D&B Toolkit Address Standardization Transaction to get the Zip +4 from Dun & Bradstreet on initial business verification. If there is not a Zip Code +4 from DnB the position will be zero filled. This process is seamless to the registrant.

  CCR Tools v3.06.2 - 04/28/2006
Notes: Monthly update will be retrieved from D&B with Prior DUNS information. This will now display on the CCR Tools profile.

  CCR Update v3.06.2 - 04/28/2006
Notes: Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) will soon delete their requirement for a check digit in a DUNS number. CCR is ready now for new D&B DUNS numbers with the termination of check digit checking with this release.
