Cornyn Public Service Announcement On Flood Recovery Efforts

‘I’m working with local and federal officials, and the entire Texas Congressional delegation, to ensure assistance goes to those who need it’

WASHINGTON—U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, Vice Chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, released a Public Service Announcement on Monday regarding Texas flood recovery efforts. Below is the text of Sen. Cornyn’s PSA:

“Hi, I’m United States Senator John Cornyn. Following the recent flooding in Texas , our state has received millions of dollars in federal assistance. Dozens of Texas counties have been made eligible for individual and public funding. More help is on the way, as assessments continue to be made. I’m working with local and federal officials, and the entire Texas Congressional delegation, to ensure assistance goes to those who need it. The following counties are eligible for Individual Assistance:  (Assistance to individuals and households):

Archer, Bell, Brown, Burnet, Cherokee, Comanche, Cooke, Coryell, Denton, Eastland, Grayson, Hamilton, Hood, Lampasas, Llano, Parker, Runnels, Smith, Starr, Tarrant, Travis, Victoria, Webb, Wichita, and Williamson.

The following counties are eligible for Public Assistance:  (Assistance to state and local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations for emergency work and the repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities):

Archer, Baylor, Brown, Bosque, Burnet, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Collin, Cooke, Coryell, Eastland, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hamilton, Hunt, Jones, Kaufman, Lamar, Lampasas, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Mills, Montague, San Saba, Stephens, Victoria, Webb, Wichita, Williamson, and Wise.
