After visiting the Yakima Senior Center, Senator Murray delivered hot meals to senior citizens in Yakima County.

In the Senate, Murray has increased funding for Meals on Wheels and congregate meals. She has also worked to ensure the program serves rural residents, minorities, and hard to reach groups.

This year, Murray is working to double funding for the Meals on Wheels program. (03/27/02)
