Senator Murray discusses the importance of oyster farming in Willapa Bay on a recent visit to the Willapa Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Senator Murray has secured more then $4 million in funding to combat the harmful Spartina scourge which has threatened oyster farming and the overall habitat of the area. Senator Murray toured the refuge on an Airboat, and witnessed first hand how the federal funding was helping to eradicate the invasive marsh grass.
