American Memory, which makes selected key collections of the Library available on CD-ROM and via the Internet, has just released a report detailing the user evaluation conducted in 1991-93 at 40 locations around the country.
Evaluation sites used electronic versions of LC archival material in a variety of original collection formats: photographs, graphic arts, early film, recorded sound and pamphlets. Findings are based on 1,800 questionnaires, 120 user interviews and more than 40 site visits by Library staff.
