Assistance with Federal Agencies
One of my most important jobs as Congressman is to assist those I represent by serving as a direct link to federal government, helping them navigate the bureaucratic maze, and by cutting through the red tape to obtain answers from federal agencies.

What is Casework?
You can often obtain an answer or resolve your problems by directly contacting a federal agency or by visiting its web site.  However, when additional help is required, my staff and I will open a case and act as your liaison with the appropriate federal agency.

How do I open a Case?
The Privacy Act of 1974 requires that I have your written consent before contacting federal agencies about your situation.  Please complete a Privacy Act Release form Click here to get Adobe's free Acrobat Reader and provide it to one of my Constituent Services Centers, along with a written letter detailing your situation and request for assistance, as well as copies of other relevant documents.
