Rep. Gwen Moore to Hold Citizenship Workshop on August 5
  
Workshop Will Assist Those Eligible in Seeking U.S. Citizenship
 

(Milwaukee, WI)— Congresswoman Gwen Moore will be holding a Citizenship Workshop on Saturday, August 5, 2006 to provide current and potential citizenship applicants with a thorough understanding of the eligibility and application requirements for becoming a United States citizen, as well as the rights and responsibilities that come with U.S. citizenship.

The workshop will feature a panel discussion that will highlight the process and benefits of citizenship and civic participation, and attendees will have an opportunity to have a pro bono meeting with an immigration attorney.  Organizations that serve the immigrant community in Milwaukee will also be on hand to provide additional information and resources.
