Washington, D.C. — U.S. Representative Rick Larsen (WA-02) released the following statement today:
"Today's announcement of a tentative agreement between the Machinists and the Boeing company gives Boeing workers, their families and our entire community a reason to celebrate.
"I look forward to seeing the details of this agreement, and I am optimistic that a final deal that works for everyone will be reached soon.
"The best aerospace workers in the world are right here in Washington state, and they deserve a fair contact with good wages and benefits. I am pleased that a tentative agreement has been reached so workers at the Boeing Everett plant can go back to work building the planes our country and our economy need."
