Thank you for your interest in my floor speeches on Iraq. You may read some of my speechs below, but you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software to view them; if you do not have it, you may download the software for free.

  1. [ March 23, 2004 ] – "Just to set the stage for our discussion tonight, I would like to point out at least some of the false information that ended up starting this war. I want to be very specific on this so no one can say that we have gilded the lily..."
  2. [ February 11, 2004 ] – "The people of this country, the families who have servicepeople serving in Iraq, those who have lost members of their families, they deserve a clear, cogent, and complete answer of how a war was started..."
  3. [ November 20, 2003 ] – "The U.S. Congress owes it to these men and women in uniform who are serving proudly tonight to not ignore them and not give up trying to help resolve this mess... "
  4. [ September 9, 2003 ] – "I think a preliminary question the U.S. Congress needs to ask itself is what role we have in acting as stewards for the taxpayers' money in this regard for $87 billion in expenditures."
  5. [ July 21, 2003 ] – "Congress is going to get to the bottom of this intelligence fiasco, and the best way to do that is through a bipartisan public commission to really find out what happened with the American people not getting the straight scoop about Iraq before this war started."
