Inslee joins global warming lawsuit

8 February 2007

U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee (D-Wash.) and U.S. Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) joined conservation groups in a lawsuit against the Bush Administration by filing a friend of the court, or amicus, brief. The lawmakers called on the administration to comply with a federal law by completing a report on global warming in the United States that now is two years overdue.

Their brief was filed in the case of Center for Biological Diversity, Friends of the Earth, and Greenpeace, Inc. v. Brennan, et al.
