Norm's Washington DC office is able to submit greeting requests to the White House on behalf of his constituents. These greetings are only available to commemorate milestone occasions, such as birthdays over 80 years or anniversaries over 50 years.
All requests for White House Greetings should be submitted between four and six weeks in advance of the event. It is generally the policy of the White house Greetings Office not to send cards after the event.
In order to submit a request to Norm's office, please email Norm with the following details included in the body of the message:
- Name and title (Mr., Mrs., etc) of the individual(s) being honored
- The date of the occasion (at least 4 weeks in advance)
- The mailing address of the individual being honored
- The nature of the occasion (i.e. birthday over 80, anniversary over 50)
- The individual's age or number of years married
In most cases, greetings will be mailed from the White House approximately ten days prior to the event.
