US-Russia Joint Commission Veteran Interview

The American Side
of the U.S.-Russia Joint Commission on POW/MIAs operates an
interview program in all 15 states of the former Soviet Union
and the East European states of the former Warsaw Pact. The
program is designed to collect the testimony of former Soviet
and Warsaw Pact veterans of the Korean War, the Vietnam War,
the Cold War, and World War II. The primary objective of this
effort is to obtain information from these veterans that might
help to clarify the fate of missing-in-action American servicemen
from these conflicts.
Contained on this website are reports of interviews with
Korean War veterans from the former USSR and Eastern Europe.
