John Sandford
John Sandford is the pseudonym of John Camp, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1986 for feature writing for a series of articles on the farm crisis in the Midwest. His career in journalism began in Korea, where he worked for his base paper and continued through stints at the Cape Girardeau Se Missourian, The Miami Herald and St. Paul Pioneer Press. He stopped writing full-time as a journalist in 1989. He has written 16 books in the best-selling “Prey” series under the pseudonym John Sandford, including the most recent, Broken Prey (G.P. Putnam, 2005). He lives in Minnesota.
