Hinchey To Host Community Forum In Saugerties

Congressman Will Discuss the Economy, Gas Prices, Iraq,
& Any Other Issues of Interest To Those In Attendance

Saugerties, NY - In an effort to hear the thoughts and concerns of Hudson Valley residents and to keep them up-to-date on his latest efforts in Congress regarding the economy, gas prices, and Iraq, Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) will host a free community forum on Sunday, July 13 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Frank D. Greco Memorial Senior Citizens Center located in the Cantine Field Complex at 207 Market Street in Saugerties, New York.

"I encourage everyone from Saugerties and the Hudson Valley to come out and attend what I believe will be an important forum on the most pressing issues we are confronting in New York and across the country right now," Hinchey said. "This community forum will present us with an opportunity to have an open and honest discussion on the current state of our economy, the enormous burden high gas prices are having on people, and what the U.S. must do next in Iraq.  I look forward to hearing the thoughts of the people I represent and sharing what I've been doing on their behalf in Washington."

Following Hinchey's opening remarks, he will take questions on any topics of interest from those in attendance.
