Visiting CBO

The Congressional Budget Office is pleased to welcome visitors. CBO frequently hosts embassy and other foreign government officials and representatives, undergraduate and graduate groups, industry and other trade-related groups, nonprofit organizations, and media groups.

If your organization wishes to visit CBO, please submit a written request on the letterhead of the sponsoring organization at least three weeks in advance of when you would like to visit. Your request should include one or more times and dates when you would like to visit, the number of visitors in your group, and any specific subjects that your group is interested in. Accessibility Information


Parking: Parking for individuals with disabilities is available on a first-come, first-served basis near the intersection of 3rd Street, SW, and D Street, SW. Visitors using that area must display state-issued handicapped tags or permits.

Restrooms: Each restroom in the Ford Building is accessible for people with physical disabilities. Restrooms on the first floor are equipped with automatic entrance doors.

Telecommunications Device for the Deaf/Teletypewriter (TTD/TTY): Individuals with hearing impairments can access a public TDD/TTY located on the first floor of the Ford Building by the 3rd Street entrance. To communicate with people who utilize TTY devices, CBO staff can relay calls through specially trained communications assistants with the Federal Relay Service (1-800-877-8339). Calls are confidential, and no records of the conversation are maintained. For more information, call (202) 226-2694.
