Federal Register Solicitation for United We Ride State/Tribal Mobility Management Coordination Grants
On November 14, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on behalf of the Federal Interagency Coordinating
Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM) published a notice in the Federal Register requesting proposals from
States and tribal associations or consortia for United We Ride (UWR) mobility management grants to enhance
transportation coordination capacity and capabilities of local or regional human service networks. Such
networks include workforce development, health care, aging, youth, disability, education, housing, veterans
and other social service or human service support networks.
The intent is to assist States and tribal associations develop and implement programs that will address the
individualized customer transportation needs of persons and families with limited incomes, persons with
disabilities, older adults and youth within these networks.
Proposals may include the development and implementation of state or tribal educational programs, training and
technical assistance activities, local mobility management coordination pilots or other activities intended to
help these networks address their customer needs and better coordinate transportation activities within their
communities.
Funding in the amount of $1.5 million is available to support grants ranging up to $300,000 each. Proposals must
