Purdue Alumni Association - Calumet serves as a liaison between its members, University alumni, and current Purdue Calumet students and provides opportunities for networking and enhancing professional, personal and leadership development in efforts to increase loyalty to Purdue Calumet, foster pride in a Purdue degree and enhance students' Purdue Calumet experience.

 

What's Happening?

Streeterville Alumni Holiday Gathering
Friday, December 5
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Purdue Calumet alumni who live and/or work in Chicago are invited to attend this annual reception to meet Chancellor Howard and Patricia Cohen and to learn what’s new on campus. Hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be provided. Participation is free. The event will be held at a private penthouse near the John Hancock Center overlooking Lake Shore Drive. Fall 2008 Commencement
Tuesday, December 16
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Commencement exercises will be held at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza at U.S. 30 and I-65 in Merrillville. The Purdue Alumni Association - Calumet (PAAC) extends congratulations to all fall 2008 graduation candidates.  Be sure to verify your graduation status with your academic advisor and the Office of the Registrar!


Volunteer to be an Alumni Career Mentor
Alumni are one of Purdue Calumet’s greatest resource. Volunteer to be contacted by Purdue Calumet students and alumni to serve as a resource for career information, advice for professional development, research for best practices, and more. Alumni agree to participate in an informational interview with the person that contacts them. Each alum designates his/her preferred mode of contact, via e-mail, by phone or in person, and the number of times he/she participates.  Career mentoring, a partnership between the Purdue Alumni Association – Calumet and the Office of Career Services, is managed online through the CareerTrax system.
