Petroglyph National Monument offers two ways for kids aged 6-13 to become Junior Rangers. The Web Ranger program offers an interactive web based program that allows kids to learn more indepth information about the monument. Also, the in park ranger program allows kids to experience the monument in person and complete the booklet onsite.

Web Ranger Program

Petroglyph National Monuments Web site has an exciting challenge for kids aged 6 to 13. This program is offered in english and spanish. You will learn about the cultural and natural events that have taken place within the monument. Junior Ranger Program

Children in grades K-6 can learn more about Petroglyph National Monument by completing the Junior Ranger booklet. Children show their completed booklet to a park ranger and are presented with a Junior Ranger Badge and certificate.
