Secretary Spellings talks to summit participants about No Child Left Behind and the positive impact it has made on education outcomes for Hispanic students at the White House Initiative's Summit Education Reform and Hispanic Education Attainment. Executive Director Adam Chavarria presents the White House Initiative's summary report to Secretary Spellings before her keynote address at the summit.
Under Secretary Tucker introduces the Department's new website, College.gov, to summit attendees. The site was officially launched September 17 during a discussion with students at David A. Stein Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy MS/HS 141 in Bronx, N.Y. Executive Director Adam Chavarria speaks to more than 230 participants at the White House Initiative's Summit on Education Reform and Hispanic Education Attainment at the U.S. Department of Education.
