Description: Elektronische Allgemeine deutsche Biographie (E-ADB and E-NDB) is a database for German biographies. The general German Biographie (ADB - ersch. 1873-1912) and the new German Biographie (NDB - ersch. since 1953) contains brief descriptions for those born in the German-speaking countries from the Middle Ages to the present.
