Field 008/39 contains code u (Unknown), and field 040, subfields $a and $c contain the phrase <organization code> instead of a valid MARC code. In addition, field 001 (Record Control Number) and field 003 (Record Number Identifier) contain the phrases <control number> and <control number identifier>, respectively, indicating that the record is an example only. The system-generated portions of the Leader are represented by asterisks (*). The records also lack a system-generated Directory.
