Tara Holland, Miss America, will announce a national reading promotion campaign sponsored by the Center for the Book on Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. in the Mumford Room, sixth floor, Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building, 101 Independence Ave. S.E.

In addition to opening an exhibition of 26 photographs from the book Library: The Drama Within and unveiling a new reading poster produced by Jim Henson Productions as previously announced, Miss America also will draw the name of the national winner for a children's "reading challenge" sponsored by Reading Is Fundamental. The winner will receive a free trip to Washington, D.C., as well as books for his or her school.
