Brief Description of the Project: The proposed project would consist of the existing Atlanta Power Station facilities, located at the Forest Service's Kirby Dam, consisting of: (1) a penstock intake structure; (2) a powerhouse located at the dam, containing a single generating unit with a capacity of 187 kilowatts; (3) 4.8 miles of 3- phase, 2,400-volt transmission line; and (4) related facilities. m.
