“The Nichols College men’s basketball team is comprised of hard working and accountable young men. Players are put in real life situations on a daily basis and are expected to make quality decisions that will impact the program and the institution in a positive manner. It is a privilege to be a part of the athletic experience at Nichols College and we want our student-athletes to reach their goals while they are on campus."

Sokolnicki, a 1996 graduate of Nichols and 2004 Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, has led the Bison to the Commonwealth Coast Conference post-season tournament in seven of his eight years as head coach. The team’s 17 wins in the 2003-04 season were the most in a single season in Nichols history.
