Take notice that on October 9, 1998, KO Transmission Company (KO Transmission) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheet with a proposed effective date of November 2, 1998: Second Revised Sheet No. 32 First Revised Sheet No. 34 Second Revised Sheet No. 92 Second Revised Sheet No. 94 Second Revised Sheet No. 96 Second Revised Sheet No. 98 Second Revised Sheet No. 33 Second Revised Sheet No. 91 Second Revised Sheet No. 93 Second Revised Sheet No. 95 Second Revised Sheet No. 97 Third Revised Sheet No. 147 KO Transmission tendered this tariff filing as required by the Commission's directive in Order No. 587-H, issued July 15, 1998, wherein the Commission amended Section 284.10 of its regulations governing standards for conducting business practices. The revised tariff sheets implement certain standards governing intra-day nominations, as well as revisions to nomination and confirmation procedures. KO Transmission requests waiver of Section 154.207 of the Commission's regulations requiring thirty days notice of a tariff filing. KO Transmission and Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation (Columbia) jointly own certain pipeline facilities and KO Transmission seeks to conform to the tariff procedures proposed by Columbia in its September 29, 1998 filing to implement these GISB standards. The small delay associated with KO Transmission's filing is a product of that effort. KO Transmission states that copies of this filing were served to all of its customers. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room Linwood A. Watson, Jr., Acting Secretary.
