The FY 1999 competition focuses on schools and school districts that meet the eligibility and selection criteria for this program, as published in the Federal Register on October 30, 1997 (62 FR 58870). Eligible Applicants: Schools and school districts in the States (including schools located on Indian reservations, and in the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the outlying areas) that provide educational programs in the pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade levels. Deadline for the Transmittal of Applications: January 15, 1998. Applications Available: October 15, 1998.
