Take notice that on October 2, 1998, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company (Tennessee), tendered for filing as part of FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1, the revised tariff sheets listed in Appendix A to the filing, with an effective date of November 2, 1998. Tennessee states that the revised tariff sheets are being filed in compliance with Order No. 587-H, issued July 15, 1998, in which the Commission incorporated by reference, in Section 284.10(b)(1)(i) of the Commission's regulations, the standards relating to intra-day nominations promulgated March 12, 1998 by the Gas Industry Standards Board (GISB). Standards For Business Practices of Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines, Order No. 587-H, III FERC Stats. and Regs. (Preambles) para.31,063 (1998). Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
