"An Artistic Discovery"

Rep. Mica wil host "An Artistic Discovery" 7th Congressional District Art Competition. This competition (open to the public) provides an opportunity for young students from Orange, Volusia, Seminole, Putnam, Flagler and St. Johns Counties to display their creative talents. Selected works are displayed in the U.S. Capitol complex for one year and the winning artists will be invited to Washington D.C. in June for a ceremony in their honorto open the 2008 Congressional Art Exhibition.
Last years winners were Megan Larmie of Seabreeze High School in Ormond Beach and Kethura Singlrton of St. Augustine High School in St. Augustine.
