Literary Resources on the Net
Maintained by Jack Lynch at Rutgers, this site links to numerous literature-related sites divided by time period (classical, romanticism, 20th century) or by topic such as "Women's Literature and Feminism" or literary theory.

Voice of the Shuttle
This site, maintained by Alan Liu, offers extensive collections of resources in the areas of literature, linguistics, classics, and literary theory, including course syllabi and teaching resources.

Mitsuharu Matsuoka's (Nagoya University) Home Page
A directory providing links to a variety of literary periods, topics, and individual British, Irish, and American authors. Authors are arranged chronologically by birth year, and there is no search mechanism.

Lit Links
Lists many of the best literary links on the web. Each link is annotated to show information about a work, its author, or time period.

Librarians' Index to the Internet
Contains a literature and books section providing links to authors, book reviews, literary prizes, and full-text works.

Literature Resources (MIT Libraries)
A collection of Internet resources devoted primarily to English and American literature. The site has organized its links into time period and genre.

Internet Sites Related to Electronic Literature, Choice Magazine
List of links to sites discussed in "Literature in Electronic Format: The Traditional English and American Canon," by Joanne Gates, published in Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries, v. 34, no. 8, (April 1997), pp. 1279-1296. A wide array of resources is offered including an alphabetically-arranged list of sites about individual authors and a list of resources by period or nationality.

English Server (Iowa State University)
A collection of (among other things) electronic texts in the humanities and social sciences. There is a keyword search facility for the full text documents.

A compilation of sites related to literature worldwide, academic programs, literary theory, specific time periods, and folklore.

Litline.org
Provides links for many literary magazines, presses, and organizations.
