Since the majority of readers who use the Local History and Genealogy Reading Room at the Library of Congress have family roots in Britain and Europe, some of them may find it helpful to contact a member of the Association of European Migration Institutions (A.E.M.I.). Each of the institutions listed below is concerned with migration to America, all of them have exhibitions portraying emigration, most of them have research facilities, and some have publications and arrange tours.
