Federal Fugitive Arrested in Seattle, WA
 
Eugene, OR - Larry Rich is described as a white male, 42 years-old, 6’
2”, and 185 lbs. Rich was arrested without incident on September 20th, at 12:30 AM, by
the Seattle Police Department.

According to the Seattle Police, officers responded to a “suspicious circumstance and
loitering” complaint at the 2300 block of W. Crockett St. Larry Rich was contacted and
arrested after he provided his true name. Rich stated he was homeless and did not
provide a reason for being in the area. Larry Rich was lodged at the King County Jail on
the U.S. Marshals Federal Probation Warrant.

On September 19th, the night before Rich’s arrest, Eugene Police SWAT and the FBI
office responded to an apartment of interest located at 1017 8th St. in Eugene, Oregon.
After a two and half hour stand-off an empty apartment was searched and Larry Rich was
no where to be found.

A federal probation warrant was issued on September 16th, by a U.S. District Court Judge
and assigned to the Eugene U.S. Marshals Office. Rich is a convicted bank robber and
was considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.

The U.S. Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force will assist any agency with state
