The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force Arrests Murder Suspect Damiee Kendrick Johnson
 
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force LogoWaco, TX – On 05/06/2008 the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force along with the Temple Police Department, Harker Heights Police Department, and the Killeen Police Department arrested 18-year old Damiee Kendrick Johnson at an apartment complex in Harker Heights. Johnson and 28-year old Rico Doyle are both accused of shooting 18-year old Tyrone Haskins this past September, then leaving him to die in the street. At the time of his death, Haskins was a student at Killeen High School. Doyle was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in early December in New Orleans, LA. Both suspects are in the Bell County Jail awaiting trial. Johnson had additional outstanding warrants for evading arrest, failure to ID, and possession of Marijuana.

United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas, LaFayette Collins, stated, “The purpose of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is to combine the talents of local law enforcement agencies with the resources of the United States Marshals Service and its partnering federal law enforcement agencies. The arrest of both Johnson and Doyle is a direct result of that partnership.”
