Around 7:00 pm
on February 26, 2008, a North Carolina man Israel TREJO 30, was
arrested in Haines City Florida.
On 02/20/2008 the Eastern District of North Carolina
US Marshals fugitive Task Force was contacted by the Onslow County
Sheriff's Office to assist in a fugitive investigation. The
investigations led the US Marshals in the Eastern District of North
Carolina to believe TREJO had fled to the Davenport/Haines City
Florida area. Therefore, the assistance of the
US Marshals
Tampa Bay Area Fugitive Task Force (TBAFTF) was
requested to locate and arrest Israel TREJO.
Further investigations led US Marshals
Tampa Bay Area Fugitive Task Force (TBAFTF) to an address on
Hinson Avenue East in Haines City. The US Marshals combined efforts
with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and they located and arrested
TREJO without incident.
Investigators for
the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office stated that fugitive TREJO was
charged with over 80 counts of Rape on his biological children.
TREJO is also illegally in the United States.
The US Marshals Tampa Bay Area Fugitive Task Force is made
up of Federal, State and Local law enforcement officers. The members
of the Task Force combine resources and efforts daily to track down
violent fugitives of Justice in the Tampa Bay Area and Nation Wide
through networking with Task Forces across the country.
