About Us - Youth Initiative

Engaging America's Youth logoMuseums and Libraries Engaging America's Youth

IMLS's Youth Initiative is grounded in our mission to create and sustain a Nation of Learners. We know that IMLS spends millions of dollars every year to support youth development programs in communities across the nation. This initiative shines a spotlight on the role libraries and museums play in bringing about positive change in the lives of young people. These new tools will help libraries and museums do it better.
