Advisory Circular 25.723-1, Shock Absorption Tests

AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.

ACTION: Notice of issuance of advisory circular.

SUMMARY: This notice announces the issuance of Advisory Circular (AC) 
25.723-1, Shock Absorption Tests. This AC sets forth an acceptable 
means, but not the only means, of demonstrating compliance with the 
provisions of part 25 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) related 
to the use of landing gear shock absorption tests and analyses to 
determine landing loads for transport category airplanes.

DATE: Advisory Circular 25.723-1 was issued by the Acting Manager, 
Transport Airplane Directorate, Aircraft Certification Service, ANM-
100, on May 25, 2001.
