National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics: Meeting

    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Department of 
Health and Human Services announces the following advisory committee 
meeting.

    Name: National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS), 
Subcommittee on Standards and Security.
    Times and Dates: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., August 20, 2001; and 
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, August 21, 2001.
    Place: Hubert H. Humphrey Building, Room 705A, 200 Independence 
Avenue, SW., Washington, DC.
    Status: Open.
    Purpose: At this working session, the Subcommittee on Standards 
and Security will obtain public input into the Committee process for 
uniform patient medical record information from a panel of invited 
speakers.
