The
Office of Workforce Development administers the Service's workforce
development programs, including succession planning, special recruitment
programs, merit selection and other employment programs, mentoring,
diversity efforts, special recognition programs, upward mobility
programs, training, and position and performance management programs
and activities. It represents the Director in issues involving
the Service's status, role, activities and interaction with other
Library entities in relevant areas of human resources.
