Agreement Reached in Kaleida Health Contract Talks

Kaleida Health and the seven bargaining units represented by 1199 SEIU reached a contract agreement during an all-day negotiating session with a federal mediator. Both sides had been in talks since March, calling in a federal mediator in November to help with the negotiations. The union represents 3,000 members employed through Kaleida at several hospitals in the Buffalo, N.Y. area.
