Description: Bureau of Economic Analysis, an agency of the Department of Commerce, provides estimates for national, international, regional and industry aspects of the United States economy. The cornerstone of BEA's statistics is the national income and product accounts (NIPAs), which feature the estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) and related measures. The BEA also issues Regional Economic Accounts (State & County) that include county estimates of compensation by industry, as well as annual estimates for counties, metropolitan areas, and BEA economic areas for employment (1969-2002), compensation by industry (CA06), and wage and salary estimates. The BEA also has the monthly Survey of Current Business in full text from 1994 to present.
