Description: Includes access to the full text of educational statistics, including the Condition of Education, Education Statistics Quarterly, Digest of Education Statistics, Projections of Education Statistics, and other NCES Reports . The Global Education Locator is a collection of online directories of U.S. public and private schools, school districts, universities, and public libraries; each directory allows users to limit their searches by a number of variables (e.g. number of students, location), and entries include basic statistical data. The Center's College opportunities on-line has information on over 9,000 colleges and universities, including cost of tuition, books and supplies, and housing; statistics on degrees awarded, enrollment, and student demographics; and data on financial aid. Also see the Public Education Finances Report (1992- ) issued by the census bureau which contains finance data including revenues, expenditures, debt, and assets (cash and security holdings) of elementary and secondary public school systems.
