Description: A broad range of United States health statistics documenting the health status of the population and of important subgroups. The CDC National Center for Health Statistics aids researchers in identifying disparities in health status and use of health care by race/ethnicity, socio-economic status, region, and other population characteristics; monitoring trends in health status and health care delivery; tracking health problems; and evaluating the impact of health policies and programs.   • CDC Recommends , a searchable storehouse of documents containing CDC recommendations on a variety of health, prevention, and public health practice issues
  • Global Health Facts , which provides free, up-to-date data by country on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, and other key health and socio-economic indicators. The data are displayed in tables, charts, and color-coded maps and can be downloaded for custom analyses.
