Description: Thor M Andersen bibliography covering all areas related to emigration from Norway to North America (United States and Canada) and Norwegian immigrants in North America up to 1930. Provides references to books, pamphlets, articles from collections, journals, annuals and newspapers, published anywhere between 1825-1930, mainly in English or Norwegian. In addition the database gives biographical information (in English) for most authors, journalists and editors of Norwegian-American periodicals. According to the the National Library of Norway, "the bibliography probably includes 60% of the printed documents in the field."
